The Madera County Historical Society’s long-time President Sheryl Berry has been named the Old Timers’ Day Parade Queen, and will bring her husband, Randy, along to be the King.

“I’m not a king, except in my barn where the pigeons hang out,” Randy said.

The Berrys were eating a late breakfast when Old Timers’ Day Parade coordinator Nick Salinas called during a meeting Sheryl was supposed to be attending.
