Having any thoughts about Prop. 50? Look at District 1. It encompassed Northeast California. District 2 covered the coastal area.
The new District 2 will not only take all of Northern California, but the coastal area down to almost San Francisco. District 1 will now be South, only cover interior areas, and be greatly reduced.
District 1 is guaranteed a Democratic District. It is massive, and I doubt its needs will be looked after by its representative.
