The municipal pool serving residents today traces its origins to an era when Madera was a town of just a few thousand people. Today, Madera is home to more than 70,000 residents and faces longer, more intense summer heat than previous generations. Yet we rely on the same core infrastructure, with no public splash pads, no indoor options, and limited alternatives when the main pool is overcrowded or closed.
