Honor veterans with a paid day off. Seems strange to me, that we pay Government employees to “observe” Veterans Day on the 12th, the day (after) Veterans Day.
In order to get “Paid” the employee should have to present a ticket of proof from a Veterans group that they attended the observance. Better yet, their day’s pay should be given to the V.A. A bit of pain, instead of a reward.
