A man drove himself directly to the CHP Madera Area office while under the influence. After he entered the lobby Monday, officers noticed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication.
A DUI investigation was conducted, and the driver was arrested and booked for DUI.
The destination may have been unusual, but the danger was the same. If you drink, don’t drive — anywhere. Plan ahead, call a sober friend, or use a ride share.
