Celebrating others

This is a busy time of the year, when kids are graduating from high schools, and younger kids have graduations from eighth grade, or kindergarten, or whatever milestone the adults decide to celebrate the advancing to another stage of life. It is indeed a time of celebration for both the child and for the parents and other loved ones in their lives. Graduations also happen for adults, for colleges and universities, trade schools, and business schools. Each one is a special celebration.

The month of June has traditionally been a time for lots of weddings. Couples decide to get married when schools are out, so that more people can attend and celebrate their wedding. It, too, is an exciting time for people, and most people tend to want to celebrate this special time with others.

Celebrating others is a sort of generosity in which we can each benefit. It is said that it is more blessed to give than to receive, but it also is more blessed to celebrate if others are celebrating together. How does one celebrate alone?
