Solidarity decals, with which Maderans can show their support of the city’s first responders, remain available, according to the Rev. Roger Leach of Valley West Christian Center, who first introduced the red-and-blue patches a few years ago at an appearance before the City Council.

Citizens who want them may call Valley West Christian Center at 674-8922.

Leach said the Madera Ministerial Association would continue to show solidarity with first responders by honoring them at a dinner in conjunction with Grace Community Church at an annual luncheon this Saturday.
