Zacharia takes City Council seat

The City of Madera announced that Rohi Zacharia has been appointed to fill the District 1 vacancy on the City Council.
This appointment comes after a comprehensive selection process that began in December 2024, reflecting the City’s commitment to identifying leaders with a deep passion for Madera’s future and a proven track record of community engagement.
Zacharia brings a wealth of experience and a demonstrated dedication to Madera. He played a pivotal role in reinstating the Madera Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, an event that has become a staple of the community’s celebration and pride. Additionally, he has served as co-president of the Greater Kiwanis of Madera, contributing to numerous service projects aimed at improving the lives of Madera residents.
