With his parents, Luisa Saavedra and Luis Padilla, watching, Madera’s Eric Wilson gives a fist pump about his excitement for signing a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Fresno Pacific University.
When Eric Wilson signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Fresno Pacific University, he continues a tradition of Coyotes playing for the Sunbirds.
He continues a line that began with Alec Merhten and continued with Tristan Alvarez and Brian Hefner to play for the Sunbirds.
“It’s pretty nice,” Wilson said. “I had a cousin go to Fresno Pacific and I know of a couple of people that go there. It’s close to home. It’s a good place to be and a Christian college, which is something I’m passionate about. I did some research about the pipeline about it. I have known friends that have gone there. I know a lot of people that have gone there.”
