The Loy Cook Water Tower Renovation Project is inching towards the final stages of completion, marking an important step forward in the City of Madera’s commitment to revitalizing essential infrastructure.
Approved by the City Council on October 4, 2023, the project is intended to address critical aspects of the aging water tower, emphasizing enhancements in structural integrity, water quality compliance, and aesthetic restoration.
While reinforcing the water tower’s structure to meet current seismic codes was a core aspect of the project, the interior and exterior of the tower are also receiving a complete makeover.
