FRESNO — Although it was an all-star game, both teams combined for 15 walks and 10 errors that resulted in a 9-7 victory for the County over the City in the 42nd annual City/County All-Star Softball game at Margie Wright Diamond at Fresno State.

Liberty’s Rylee Bocchini and Karsyn Bauer helped lead the County to the victory. Bocchini had two hits while Bauer tossed the first 2 1/3 innings and allowed a run.

“It’s really exciting to play on the field I will be playing on in college,” said Bocchini, who will be playing softball at Fresno State. “Sadly, we never got here as a team. It was really fun.”
