A car sits against a residence along Hacienda Street on Wednesday afternoon. The driver fled the scene, but was later apprehended and found to be under the influence at almost twice the legal limit.
Madera Police officers responded to a report of a traffic collision involving a vehicle into a residence in the 600 block of Hacienda Street.
When officers arrived Wednesday afternoon at about 1, they located a vehicle up the curb, and collided with the corner of one home before it collided into the wall of another home.
No occupants inside the home were injured but the two homes sustained damages. Officers canvased the area for the driver, who fled on foot, and later located 19-year-old Alexander Perez Diaz.
