Vehicle crashes into hydrant

Howard Road is flooded after a Ford Mustang sheared off a fire hydrant causing water to flow onto the road. The driver was spinning his wheels at a stop before losing control, and hitting the hydrant.

 

Madera Police Department officers were dispatched to a traffic collision at Rotan Avenue and Howard Road.


The collision involved a single vehicle Friday morning at about 9 a.m.


A 2020 Ford Mustang, driven by a 19-year male, collided into a fire hydrant at the northeast corner of Rotan and Howard.
