Madera Police and first responders are on scene at a traffic collision at the intersection of W. Yosemite Avenue and L Street on Friday.
The Madera Police Department was a little busy over the weekend handling a pair of traffic collisions and providing aid for a fire.
On Saturday, officers were investigating a traffic accident at the intersection of Almond Avenue and Monterey street.
After investigation, MPD officers found Rosa Carmen Carranza, 56, ran a stop sign driving southbound on Monterey Street and broadsided a vehicle driving westbound on Almond. The broadsided vehicle was forced into bushes on the southwest corner of the intersection.
