Torres surges past Sanger West

The Matilda Torres Toros girls basketball team played consistently all game long for a 45-32 North Yosemite League victory over the Sanger West Hornets last week. 

The Toros outscored the Hornets in every quarter, including closing out the game going 7-of-14 from the field for the win. 

Torres forced 42 Sanger West turnovers compared to 20 of their own. They recorded 24 steals with Sabrina Cerrillo recording seven and Jasmine Garcia and J’Lynn Mitchell recording six each.
