Torres soccer earns top seeds

The Matilda Torres Toros boys and girls soccer teams earned Central Section Div. V playoff top seeds, which were announced Friday. 

The Torres boys soccer team earned the No. 1 seed in the Div. V playoffs. They earned a first-round game against No. 16 Nipomo on Valentine’s Day. They will play in Madera’s Memorial Stadium at 6 p.m. 

The winner will play the winner of No. 8 Strathmore and No. 9 Avenal on Friday.
