Matilda Torres Toros head girls soccer coach Marco Gomez has challenged his team this year with a tough pre-league schedule.

Tuesday, the Toros came away with a scrappy 1-0 victory over Kingsburg in Toros Stadium before beginning County/Metro Athletic Conference play next week.

The Toros, who are based in Div. IV faced Div. III based Kingsburg. Toros have also faced Div. I Sanger and Div. II Hanford and El Diamante in the pre-league schedule.
