Torres gets rivalry win over Stallions

The Matilda Torres Toros closed out the regular season by sending out its seniors with a rivalry victory over the Madera South Stallions on Thursday. 

The Toros honored seniors Gezer Morales, Anthony Lahr and Kevin Chavez with a four-set victory to send the Toros to the Central Section Div. II playoffs this week. 

Torres picked up a 25-18 and 25-19 win in the first two sets. However, the Stallions came back with a 25-22 win in the third set, and battled to the end in a 25-20 Torres win in the fourth set.
