Torres beats Madera in flag football battle

Torres’ J’Lynn Mitchell celebrates with Yarissa Oceguera-Barriga after scoring a second half touchdown in Thursday’s 28-0 victory over Madera in flag football.

 

In the first-ever girls flag football battle between Madera and Matilda Torres, the Toros came out on top with a dominating 28-0 victory in the Toros Stadium.


The Toros scored two touchdowns in the first and second halves for the win.


Meanwhile, the Coyotes were having trouble with the snap. In nine second half plays, the Coyotes had trouble with the snap three times.
