Toros win second straight Div. V title

The Matilda Torres Toros wrestling team celebrates a second straight Div. V Central Section Championship last week in Farmersville.

The Matilda Torres Toros wrestling team sent six wrestlers to the Div. V Central Section Wrestling Tournament finals to send them to its second straight Div. V Championship last Saturday at Farmersvile High School. 

Aiden Salas, Alex Salas, Pablo Adame, Owen Walters, Angelo Adame and Marty Corona each advanced to the championship match for the Toros. 

The Toros eventually edged out the Roosevelt Rough Riders to win the championship, 196.5-192.
