Three teams earn home basketball playoff games

Both the Matilda Torres Toros boys and girls basketball teams earned first-round playoff home games, as well as the Madera South Stallions girls basketball team. 

The Torres boys basketball team earned the No. 6 seed in the Div. IV playoffs. They will host No. 11 Corcoran on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The winner will play No. 3 Fowler or No. 14 Nipomo. 

The Toros girls basketball team, who were the Div. VI runners-up last year, hope to make a similar run in the Div. IV playoffs. They earned the No. 4 seed, and will host No. 12 Mendota on Wednesday. The winner will play No. 5 Templeton or No. 12 Tulare Union.
