Without one of their best goal scorers and playing the defending Div. V Central Section Champions, the Madera South Stallions girls soccer team knew they were behind the eight-ball.
The Stallions battled with the Matilda Tirres Toros, but the Toros scored three goals in a seven minute span to take control of the game to record a 4-0 County/Metro Athletic Conference victory Wednesday at Torres.
Stallions’ leading goal scorer Alysa Guillen was on the sideline on crutches and a brace around her leg didn’t help the Stallions’ cause.
