Tempers cost Stallions
Madera South Stallions head football coach Matt Johnson had his team moving in the right direction heading into last week’s rivalry Rodeo Bowl with the Matilda Torres Toros.
His team was looking the best it has ever looked with Ahmed Sharhan leading the offense to a 35-14 lead over the Toros late in Friday’s game.
Late in the game, a Stallions’ offensive lineman got into a tussle with a Toros’ defensive player, and punches were thrown. The sidelines cleared and, after the dust settled, the game was called midway through the fourth quarter.
