Supes approve scheduled salary increases
During the regularly scheduled Madera County Board of Supervisors meeting, supervisors recognize the month of April as child abuse prevention and awareness month.
In addition the week of April 1-7 as national public health week. Plaques recognizing champions for public health were distributed in recognition of exemplary efforts from individuals within the community. The board of supervisors also approved a resolution adopting a salary schedule increase for elected officials.
Recognizing the month of April has National Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month, Madera County Board of Supervisors presented a proclamation to the Director of Social Services, Deborah Martinez, who highlighted the efforts of the Madera County Child Abuse and Prevention Council.
