State validates Treasurer’s investment policy

SACRAMENTO — The California Municipal Treasurers Association Investment Policy Certification has been granted to the County of Madera Treasurer Office. 

Four years ago, the Madera County Treasurer brought the Investment Policy to CMTA for review. This past year, the Madera County Treasurer received a perfect score of 100 from CMTA. 

“It was just great to have another set of eyes looking at our policy. I’m proud of our accomplishment and I am proud of our staff for putting it together,” Madera County Treasurer Tracy Kennedy said.
