Stallions strike out Roosevelt

The Madera South Stallions baseball team surrounds former Madera South baseball player Isaac Arellano during Friday’s Strike Out Cancer game against Roosevelt. Arellano is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer and the Stallions defeated the Rough Riders 21-2.
The Roosevelt-Fresno Rough Riders opened the game with two runs in the top of the first inning. From there, the Madera South Stallions baseball team scored 21 unanswered runs for a runaway victory in Eddie Chapa Field.
With former Stallion Isaac Arellano throwing out the first pitch while the Stallions donated proceeds to Arellano’s road to recovery from cancer, Madera South scored 19 runs in the second and third innings for the win Friday night.
Arellano is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments. The Stallions hosted Arellano in their Strike Out to Cancer game.
