Stallions rally late for league win
The Madera South Stallions softball team only scored in two innings, but made them stand out for an 8-2 victory over the Fresno Warriors in North Yosemite League play.
The Stallions scored three runs in the fourth and five runs in the fifth to put away the Warriors, who trailed 3-2 before the fifth inning outburst, Friday at Madera South.
Madera South pitcher Mariah Williams tossed a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and just one walk with a pair of hit batters. The two runs she gave up were both unearned.
