Stallions place fifth at Cen-Cal tournament

The Madera South Stallions had one more opponent to face in the Cen-Cal Holiday Classic at Matilda Torres for a fifth place finish.

The Stallions used a suffocating first half to hold off the Ridgeview Wolf Pack for a 48-40 victory in the fifth place game at the fourth annual tournament hosted by their neighbors on December 21.

The Stallions got 16 points each from Mayrlin Vasquez and Crystalina Buitron to lift them to the victory. They got points from six different players.
