Stallions lose first half lead in loss to Hoover

FRESNO — The Madera South Stallions took advantage of opportunities to jump out to a 20-7 first half lead over the Hoover Patriots at Sunnyside Stadium.
However, the Stallions couldn’t manage much in the second half while the Patriots scored on three of their six second half possessions for a 35-20 victory Thursday evening.
The Stallions scored on three straight drives in the first and second quarter. However, in their remaining seven drives, they managed 37 yards and three punts.
