Stallions get season-opening victory

The Madera South Stallions showed much improvement with a 21-9 victory over the Orosi Cardinals to open the 2024 season. 

Madera South opened a 14-0 first half lead and rode that to the season opening victory. Madera South outgained the Cardinals 281-194, and took advantage of three Orosi turnovers. 

Quarterback Ahmed Sharhan led the offense in his third year at the helm. He rushed for a touchdown, and went 15-of-20 for 205 yards with another touchdown.
