Softball star picks Ohio State

Madera’s Kailea Ricks, and her parents, are all smiles after she signed her National Letter of Intent to play next season at Ohio State.

Although it’s been known for quite a while, but when Madera Coyote softball star Kailea Ricks put her name on her National Letter of Intent, she will next play softball at Ohio State. 

“I’m excited about going to Ohio State. I’m a little bit nervous,” she said. “It made me feel really good to sign. They came to all of my games even before that. 

“I signed last November, the first day of signing. I committed in October of my junior year. It felt good to sign.”
