A warm glass of milk. Red Light Therapy. Magnesium. Zinc. Melatonin. Medical Marijuana. A glass of Whisky. Chamomile Tea.


We all have our own little trick to help us sleep after a long day. A restless night can be attributed to a variety of reasons from noise and light pollution to simply not being able to stop watching Netflix, scroll Facebook or just simple anxiety can get the best of anyone. Sleep hygiene is a practice that is neglected by many americans.


Sleep is one of the most noted indicators of health. It affects everything within the human body’s functions. We all have had an encounter with someone who was unusually disheveled, inattentive and forgetful after a restless night. Like anything many people can adapt to sleepless nights but the effects on the internal self are immense. Lack of sleep has been connected to increased risks of diabetes, depression, hypertension and more.
