Shorthanded Stallions fall to Hornets

Madera South’s Gilbert Moisa throws a pitch during a wet and cold Friday night loss to the Sanger West Hornets.
The Madera South Stallions baseball team was dealt a blow this week when one of their starters was declared ineligible, leaving the team with just 11 players.
The Stallions were held to just two hits in a 4-1 loss to the Sanger West Hornets on a cold Friday night.
The Stallions got the game in despite rain Thursday evening and Friday morning, but their bats, apparently, didn’t get the same memo.
