The 2023 Trees for Charity theme was “A Red Christmas Spectacular.” Madera County Sheriff’s Foundation decorated their tree for a patriotic theme of a Red, White and Blue Spectacular Christmas.

The Sheriff’s Foundation of Madera County will again present a decorated Christmas tree at the Madera Sunrise Rotary’s annual Trees for Charity on December 7.

This organization began in 2016, and its objective is to promote civic spirit in support of law enforcement and to enhance the ability of the Madera County Sheriff’s office to work even more safely and effectively. It was started by Amy Varney, then-Madera County Sheriff Jay Varney’s wife.

The 2024 Madera County Sheriff’s Foundation Christmas tree entry is themed “Only the Best.”
