The Madera South Stallions honor seven seniors before Tuesday’s Senior Night match with Fresno. From left are coach Lilly Martinez, Yoviedra Sierra, Limairy Arzola, Yajaira Vasquez, Hannah Eades, Diana Moreno, Angelina Aguirre, head coach Madison Devine and coach Sebastian Moreno.
It was only fitting on a night to honor its seniors that the first point and the final point for the Madera South Stallions girls volleyball team’s victory over Fresno were scored by seniors
Angelina Aguirre put down a kill for the first point and Limairy Arzola put down a kill to end the match for a 25-19, 25-14, 25-14 win over the Warriors in the Stallions’ final regular season home match.
Danae Prudente led the Stallions with eight kills while Aguirre had eight. Hannah Eades pitched in five with four aces. Diana Moreno added four more aces.
