Second quarter run leads Stallions over Toros

The Madera South Stallions outscored the Matilda Torres Toros 21-4 in the second quarter and used that for a 59-45 victory on Madera South’s Senior Night.


The Stallions sent off seniors David Lorta, Cesar Davila, Ahmed Sharhan and Sinceare McFarland with a victory Friday at Madera South. The win also gave the Stallions the season sweep over the Toros.


Maurice Snowden led the Stallions with 20 points and eight rebounds. He had three steals and hit four of Madera South’s 10 3-pointers. Angel Paramo hit three 3-pointers, and scored 11 points.
