Second quarter downs Stallions on Sr. Night

Take away the second quarter against the Fresno Warriors and the Madera South Stallions girls basketball team had a chance at a victory Monday evening at Madera South. 

The Warriors outscored the Stallions 22-6 in the second quarter. However, in the other three quarters, Madera South outscored Fresno 37-36 in a 58-43 loss. 

The Warriors used a 22-1 run in the quarter to take control of the game, and never let the Stallions close in on a night where they honored their seniors — Briannah Lorta, Jalissa Kirkpatrick and Juana Rivera.
