Second half downs Coyotes against Sunnyside

The Madera Coyotes had themselves a season opening battle with the Sunnyside Wildcats. They went into the halftime break within two points, but then the second half happened.
Sunnyside outscored the Coyotes 32-7 in the second half for 54-27 victory Friday in Memorial Stadium. The Wildcats amassed 504 yards of total offense while the Coyotes gained 252.
Blake Burton led the Coyotes with 81 yards rushing on 17 carries, and a touchdown. Emanuel Soliz caught four passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.
