Folks in Louisiana are gearing up to celebrate Mardi Gras. Even though I have never been to any of those celebrations and have only passed through the state, I love their food, especially the seafood dishes. I am somewhat fond of King Cake, too.
I can’t say I have any desire to attend a street Mardi Gras festival, though, as that looks to be a little too wild for me and I tend to avoid crowds. So, I will be more than happy to stay home and enjoy some good ol’ bayou cooking and eating.
