During a traffic stop, a Madera Police Department Officer found a motorcyclist with a felony warrant. The motorcyclist also had a firearm and additional narcotics in his possession.
Madera Police Department Officer Alvaro Sanchez conducted an enforcement stop on a motorcycle for not having mirrors or a license plate Friday afternoon.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 21-year-old, Carlos Borstad. He was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest.
During a search, Borstad was found to be in possession of an unregistered, loaded Glock style 9mm handgun and methamphetamine for sale. He is prohibited from possessing firearms.
