Yosemite FFA members show off the donation they received from the Picayune Rancheria to help out the auction event at their annual FFA boosters dinner.
COARSEGOLD — The Chukchansi Economic Development Authority (CEDA), the business arm of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians, comprised of Tribal Council Board members, announced a $6,100 donation to Yosemite High FFA.
This donation will cover the costs of all the materials for the students’ projects that reflect students’ technical skills and dedication to agriculture and craftsmanship. The completed projects were auctioned off during the Yosemite FFA Boosters annual dinner event on March 1.
In a donation request letter, the Yosemite FFA Boosters expressed that support from the Chukchansi Tribal Council would not only contribute to the success of their annual auction ,but also enhance the educational experience for students, equipping them with valuable skills for their future careers and lives. They emphasized that by backing these ambitions, the Tribe is making an investment in the next generation of leaders, skilled professionals, and community members who will uphold and strengthen shared values of hard work, integrity, and dedication.
