Obituary: Tracy Lee Clayton, Jan. 8, 1961 – March 4, 2025

For The Madera Tribune

Tracy Lee Clayton.

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Tracy Lee Clayton, who went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 4, 2025, at the age of 64, embraced by the love of his family, in his home in Madera, CA.

Born on Jan. 8, 1961, in Homestead, Florida, Tracy was a man of faith, compassion, and a heart devoted to serving others. A talented construction worker specializing in steel buildings, he played a role in constructing numerous Costco locations and warehouses throughout his career.

Beyond his work, Tracy embraced life with passion. He found joy in boating, golfing, fishing, and riding his cherished 1991 Harley-Davidson Softail. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend — his greatest love was spending time with his family. He had a servant’s heart, always putting others before himself and sharing Christ’s love in all he did.

Tracy is survived by his loving wife, Timba; his children, Jayson (Nikki) Clayton, Ryan (Andrea) Levine, and Shandell (Ricky) Correa; his granddaughter, Avrilena Clayton; his parents, Bob and Cecilia Lesmerises; and his brothers, Wes (Marilyn) Clayton and Todd (Sherrie) Clayton. He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Clayton, and his grandparents, Clarence and Lorraine Crain. His family and friends will forever cherish his love, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

A service and celebration of Tracy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at First Christian Church, 2300 Sunset Ave, Madera, CA 93637, where we will honor his legacy and the profound impact he had on so many.

Though we grieve his loss, we do not mourn without hope. We take comfort in knowing that one day, we will be reunited with him in the glorious presence of Jesus. Until that day, he celebrates in Heaven, surrounded by eternal joy.
