Phil and Klina Oberti have been selected and honored as this year’s Old Timer’s Day King and Queen.
Long-time Madera residents, Phil and Klina Oberti, will be honored this week at Old Timers’ Day, and will be part of the front of the parade as the King and Queen.
The Obertis have been married for 59 years and are looking forward to their 60th anniversary as much as they did their first.
“The secret is arguing,” Phil said, laughing.
