Attendees place bids on a wide variety of silent auction items during the 2023 O.L.I.V.E. Foundation’s annual dinner/auction fundraiser. This year’s event will be held in Hatfield Hall at the Madera Fairgrounds.
O.L.I.V.E. Foundation will have its annual dinner/auction fundraiser on May 31 at Hatfield Hall Madera.
Founded by Dan Foss, who is now Chief of Police of Nevada City, California, O.L.I.V.E. is an acronym, which stands for “Overcoming Limitations for Intermittent Value and Empowerment.”
The O.L.I.V.E. Charitable Organization was founded in 2015 when Foss noticed a gap in resources for victims of human sex trafficking. He was a patrol officer in Madera at the time, and he reached out to interns at Fresno State to assist him in founding a non-profit organization.
