If you have never seen the Madera County Museum, which is in the old Madera Courthouse, you have really missed out on something guaranteed to make you appreciate the history of Madera County. The building itself is beautiful, and inside every room contains authentic pieces from Madera history.
The museum, at 210 W. Yosemite Ave., is open Sundays, from 1-4 p.m. Our museum was recently nominated for “2025 Best of Central California.” It is very exciting to have the honor of being nominated for the Best Museum, and each of us can vote to make it happen, that we are not only nominated for the Best, but that we can actually WIN and be officially the BEST MUSEUM IN CALIFORNIA.
The voting began Monday, February 17, and runs through Friday, March 7, at 5 p.m. Each of us can vote once a day, every day, during the voting period.
