MUSD to hold first Art Jam competition

Madera Unified is set to hold the first-ever Art Jam Competition for elementary and secondary school students. 

The event, coordinated by the school district’s Visual and Performing Arts Department (VAPA), aims to allow students to experience new and innovative contests encompassing visual art.  

Elementary students will compete Tuesday from 9 a.m-1 p.m. at Madera South High School. Secondary students will compete on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m-5 p.m. Awards presentations for all grade levels will be Wednesday at 6 p.m.
