The California School Public Relations Association (CalSPRA), a statewide organization that promotes better public understanding, commitment and support of public education, announced Madera Unified School District received two Awards of Excellence for MUSD Madera Minutes Videos and the June 2023 Edition of the We Believe Newspaper.
“It is extremely exciting to honor Madera Unified Communications Department with this award,” said CalSPRA President Jessica Hull. “CalSPRA members across California help lead our school communities through a variety of challenges, providing effective communication in the face of uncertainty and polarization. Now, more than ever, successful communication is at the heart of public education. This award-winning example is just one way Madera Unified provides excellent communication work every day.”
“As the Madera Unified Director of Communications, I commend our talented team’s unwavering dedication and exceptional efforts in delivering state award-winning projects within demanding timelines. The recognition bestowed upon us by CalSPRA is a testament to our commitment to our students, staff, parents and community. We accept these awards with pride and humility,” said George Garnica, Madera Unified Director of Communications.
