Madera Unified held its annual Student Champion Hall of Fame and State of the District event at the Torres High School Theatre.
The community event, emceed by Madera Linkage Foundation President Tim Riche’, featured many retired MUSD employees with outstanding past accomplishments who have significantly contributed to the lives of students in Madera.
Inducted into the Student Champion Hall of Fame were Sandra Carter, Denise Cisneros, Phillip Gallegos, Carmen Gallegos, Shirley Gregory, Joanne Hyman, Steve Imrie, Kim Imrie, Raul Lozano, Anne Lozano, Geral Mitchell, Celetta Mitchell and Alice Mitchell.
