MUSD among nation’s healthiest

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation has recognized 24 Madera Unified Schools as America’s Healthiest Schools out of 879 schools across 30 states this year.

Madera Unified School District received the most recognition of any school district in the Central Valley.

“This honor positions the district as a role model for others, sharing successful strategies and promoting a focus on health and wellness in education, which can have a positive impact on students and their families in surrounding districts and beyond the Central Valley,” said MUSD Coordinator of Physical Education and Athletics Jaime Brown.
