MPD making gang arrests

Over the past few months, the Investigations Division at the Madera Police Department has been focusing its efforts to combat gang related crimes.

In the last few months, the Detectives have seized more than 20 firearms from gang members and made multiple arrests.

The MPD Investigations Division will be continuing to focus on gang activity and related crimes. They encourage citizens to report any gang activity in their neighborhood by calling the Madera Police Department at 675-4220.
